Save the most vulnerable rescue animals by providing high-quality surgical intervention to animals listed for euthanasia at Los Angeles area shelters. CARES works with rescue organizations to secure foster homes for these animals after treatment.

Educate veterinary students and technician students through Western University preceptorship programs and the Platt College RVT extern program. CARES also provides educational resources to pet owners about responsible pet care, including the importance of spaying and neutering.
